 At
the tender age of sixteen, JTS (James T Stanhope)
discovered his love for Hardcore.
This progressed into the purchasing of his first set of
turntables. Learning to spin vinyl, mixing some great
mixes just wasn't enough for this young Aussie. So his
next investment only a year later was a laptop and a
copy of Fruity Loops. James started playing around with
noises and effects and turned some of these ideas into
some palatable music.
This became the next obsession so much so that it
developed into a massive passion which put him on a
plane and jetted off to the UK when he was just twenty.
After living in the UK for 4 years, James headed back
home to blow away Sydney's hardcore scene and that he
has done.
In 2011, James was appointed the general manager of the
"Hardcore Masif" label that featured tunes from such
artists as Technikore, Dougal & Gammer, Steve Hill,
Weaver, Haze, Suae, etc.
JTS has a residency at Sydney's biggest Saturday night
hard dance club, "Masif."
JTS also won the powerhouse production DJ competition
that gave him a residency at Sydney's biggest rave,
"Utopia" and warm up set to Darren Styles in 2010.
